We’ve had a couple of almost-summer days here in London, which is putting everyone in the mood for the quickly encroaching festival season – brilliant news then, that CloseUp Festival is back this year after a brief hiatus.
Run by CloseUp Promotions, the festival aims to showcase the very best in rising indie and electronica talent, with acts such as KYKO, EKKAH, Model Aeroplanes, Marsicans, and Glass Peaks taking to the stage on the 13th May.
For the first time, the festival will be held at one of the capital’s best new music venues, The Hoxton Square Bar and Kitchen, with drinks (amongst other things) supplied by Jagermeister and Ticketweb on board as partners.
With two stages of live music, including a main stage and an acoustic stage, the one day fiesta promises to be a highlight of every discerning music fan’s festival calendar – one reason why our sister site Killing Moon are delighted to be teaming up with CloseUp for a ‘Track Of The Day Takeover’ in the week leading up to the festival. Stay tuned.
